MOTION
Small, self-directed studies in movement.
Motion as a sketchbook
A collection of short, self-directed motion studies exploring timing, looping, layered scenes and animated form. The page works as a visual playground for testing movement outside larger project briefs.

A four-panel daily loop
A four-panel loop built around rhythm, repetition and seamless transitions between moments of a daily routine. The animation moves through commute, coffee, work and evening while maintaining a continuous visual cycle.
Illustrated scene in motion
A layered illustration study exploring slow movement, depth and atmosphere through parallax, shifting light and continuous looping motion.
An abstract form, drawn from sound
A short abstract study, its form shaped entirely by sound. Listening closely to the audio embedded in the video suggested a shape - and the rhythm and texture of that sound became the score for its movement. A swirling form unwinds into stillness, tracked by a ring of coloured particles that settle into place as the motion resolves.
Closing statement
These three studies work more like a sketchbook than a single narrative — a looping daily routine, an illustrated scene brought to life and an abstract form driven by sound.
Each one is a small, self-contained exercise in giving a static idea a sense of time and rhythm.
